Client Overview
Eliza & Matty and the Big Stinky Cloud is a children’s book written by David Haslam, created to inspire young readers through a magical story centred on kindness, courage, and imagination. The project required a dedicated one-page website to support the book’s launch, provide information for children and families, and create a strong visual identity ahead of an important launch event with the Bromley Mayor. The client needed a fast turnaround without compromising quality or presentation.

Our Approach
We designed and built a visually engaging one-page website that brings the story to life through illustration-led design, clear storytelling sections, and strong calls to action. The site introduces the book, explores the world of Merry-Dew Land, and shares the story behind the author in a way that appeals to both children and adults. As part of the project, we also designed a bespoke logo for Eliza & Matty and the Big Stinky Cloud, ensuring consistent branding across the website and promotional materials. The project was delivered in close collaboration with Our Technician, allowing us to move quickly and efficiently to meet the tight deadline ahead of the launch event.

Results
The final website was delivered within a short timeframe and successfully supported the book’s launch ahead of the mayoral meeting. The one-page design is visually rich, easy to navigate, and effectively communicates the story, themes, and author background. With a clear brand identity, engaging content, and professional presentation, the site provides a strong digital platform for promoting the book to families, schools, and the wider community.
